I love...love...love the 80's. Although I was a kid in the 80's, I was drawn to the pop culture at that time. 80's makeup literally involved painting your face. Bold eyes and accentuated cheek bones were a "must have". Eyes during those days needed to be dark and dramatic, layers and layers of eyeliner (I can never get enough eyeliner..LOVE IT) and bold shades of eyeshadow in hues of green, blue and purple were applied.
So I thought I'd play around and tried to recreate an 80's look. I thought of some people that I remember vividly due to their extreme face painting: Cyndi Lauper, Boy George, Debbie Harry, and of course the one and only Madonna! I know there are many more people that took the 80's style to a whole other level, but these are a few of the people I think started it all. Here is a little something I put together. I will recreate other styles and will post them as soon as I can. I'll also post some reviews on some of the products I used to create this look. Some things I liked, some things I didn't.
